lyrics

Soggy cigarettes in the rain when I was with you I couldn't change

Sitting near an old storm drain till the kids come by asking who's to blame

Wait a minute I gotta go pull in the driveway 'fore daddy knows

I'll see ya Monday back at school don't hold my hand can't look like a fool

And I never thought that I'd be playing in a hall getting free joints from Mikey and a little alcohol

Or that snow would fly with the changing of the leaves while Christmas got annoying with the hope it brings

Sunday morning boring church songs but I love how everyone sings along

Sunday school with the babies downstairs I got the smell of vodka and judging glares

I'm sorry I'm just a teen with community service the old routine

I still gotta try and have fun while the devil owns the moon and the angels own the sun

And I never thought that I'd be in a haunted house sleeping peaceful in my bed with the shadow of a mouse

Or that Friendly faces would become a constant sin about the prison of this town and the cell I'm in

(break)

And I always wanted to go to travel round the world drinking champagne in the desert with a bunch of foreign girls

And I want to dream outside the realms of my own room with a paint brush in my closet and a beat up broom

Dusty records in the background maybe one day I'll find what had to be found

Until then get up go to work. I'm happy to say I'm not the same jerk

I kept a picture of you in a frame and you gave it back to me at the old storm drain

Its okay I threw it away I had to much shit I had to re-arrange
